First a BIG thank you to our Knights of Columbus crew for a fine dinner last Saturday night. This was no typical “spaghetti dinner” and was a class act from start to finish. Well done! Thanks too for all who helped with Catholic School’s Week, beginning with Brenda Martinek our principal who spoke at all the masses last weekend. We had a fine week with an especially wonderful showing of our grandparents on Wednesday. Again, well done! And, thanks to all who participated in the presentation last Sunday evening on the Holocaust. Mr. Wiener did an outstanding job of telling his story in a compelling and challenging way. We have so much to be grateful for, and we so easily get bent out of shape over stuff that is so trivial in the big picture!

AROUND THE PARISH:
Holy Trinity Parish Welcomes Kathy Brasington As New Community Outreach Coordinator

She credits her professional work experience in many different industries and over 40 years volunteering in the social services arena as key preparation for this staff position.

As Community Outreach Coordinator, the primary focus of Kathy's job is to oversee the Holy Trinity Food Closet housed on the Holy Trinity Parish campus, located in the brown portable, just beyond the Parish Offices.  The Food Closet is a distribution outlet of the Oregon Food Bank.  Currently serving approximately 60 to 75 families a week, she coordinates the . . .
