With mixed emotions I say that this is my last article. It truly has been my honor to be able to be in touch with all of you in this way. I estimate I have written around 500 of these with some coming very easily. Others, honestly, were a struggle. Writers block was a frequent challenge with the answer always being to ask the Holy Spirit for a little help. I was never disappointed when I did. I always felt this column was a way to keep all of you aware of the work that was being done, why we were doing it and the impact it was having on the community. Through these articles I have tried to either: ØInform you with updates and activities associated with the operational aspects of the Food Closet and/or other Outreach efforts ØInspire you with true stories about the strengths and struggles of those whom we serve and/or partner with in the community ØEncourage each of you to find your passion and to pursue it in the course of serving others The feedback that you all provided regarding these articles really helped. What you liked, or didn’t like; what you wanted to read more of, all mattered and helped guide me over the years. Thank you for taking the time to let me know. Your encouragement and support along the way made a difference. I truly want to express my gratitude to all of you, especially the incredible volunteers who so generously give of their time and talents; those of you who faithfully provide financial support; those of you who always keep this Ministry in your prayers.
