Parents, control your enthusiasm! Sorry kids, but back to school is coming soon. For most, a long list of school supplies is identified and then purchased. For some, the long list is identified, but there are no funds to make the purchase. For those students a little help is needed. I recently received an email from the Beaverton School District Community Resource Coordinator indicating that the School District had been “blessed with numerous donors coming in with school supplies.” So much so that they now need help sorting.
They are looking for help on Friday, August 30th between 11am and 3pm. They would gladly take help for any or all of that time. It’s a family friendly volunteer opportunity that will be held at the BSD Transportation Support Center located at 1270 NW 167th Pl. Please come to the south parking lot garage entrance. They would love to see you!
My wife Cathie and I recently enjoyed a few days at the Oregon Coast. While there we could not help but talk about God’s magnificence and beauty that was evident everywhere. While pictures can never do His work justice, I thought I would share a couple anyway. Where do you see God’s hand at work?
