I know it can be a little tough to find joy these days, but on Easter we celebrate an amazing event that changed humanity forever. Someone named Jesus gave his life for us! Talk about making a difference!!!
While none of us can contribute on that scale, there are many, many good things happening right now. For starters, all of you who are doing your part by staying home, keep it up! Those of you who are finding ways to thank first responders, good job! Are you one of those who are making face masks for others, and possibly brought some by the Food Closet for us, truly appreciated! Those volunteers who are keeping the Food Closet going, I cannot thank you enough! And those volunteers who are doing your part as one of those who are staying home, we look forward to seeing you again when it is time. Thank you for being there with your support! Thanks all of Holy Trinity for your prayers of support.
All of you teachers who are working hard to figure out the whole distance learning thing, way to go! Mom and dads who are trying to figure out seventh grade science or fifth grade math, you are rock stars! All you siblings who are showing mom or dad how to really do it, thank you!
We are clearly in unchartered waters and figuring this out as we go. No one has all the answers. Many of us are anxious about where is this headed and when will it end. But pay attention because amazing things are happening. This much we do know, because Jesus showed us the way; if we care for one another, put others needs before our own, love one another the way he showed us, we will be alright. By doing all of this, we too, can MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
