Brett's Two Cents

Hello, everyone. As Fr. Dave mentioned, we have Andy Noethe from L’Arche Portland with us this weekend. We received some exciting news a couple weeks ago from the Archdiocese related to L’Arche and our partnership with them, and this weekend seemed the perfect time to share it with you!
 

From Matt Cato, Director of the Office of Life, Justice & Peace for the Archdiocese of Portland and the Diocesan Director of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD):
 

"The Archdiocese of Portland is pleased to announce that L'Arche Portland was awarded a $3,000 grant from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development to assist in the program expenses of the continued expansion of L'Arche Portland in to Beaverton. Holy Trinity sold L'Arche Portland the new Beaverton house and has been an ongoing partner by providing space in their building for retreats and L'Arche-Westside gatherings, and providing volunteer support for the renovation of the house.
 
L'Arche is about nurturing relationships between individuals with and without intellectual disabilities. Holy Trinity recommended L'Arche Portland for this grant.”
