Merry Christmas to those of you who were away for the big day. I hope you each had good ways of celebrating Christmas, and had loved ones to celebrate with. Big thanks to all who helped make the parish gatherings go well, with special thanks to Shawn Karakas and her crew that did the decorating, and to our musicians who did so much preparation for our liturgies.
It’s a pleasure for me as pastor to see this parish so fully engaged, and in so many ways. With all the guests here for the Christmas Masses, I am confident they had a positive experience of Holy Trinity in action! Well done.
One of our parishioners sent over this Christmas message:
Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect.

Looking ahead, we have our New Year’s Mass on Tuesday the 1
st at 9:00am. I invite you to join together as we begin the New Year, renewing our commitment to
Know Jesus personally,
Grow in that relationship, and
Go forth making a difference in this world. All of this is pure gift; all can only happen with the promptings of the Holy Spirit; and all requires our willingness to cooperate. May this be a fine year of inspiration for all of us.
This weekend, funeral services were held for Betty Wells. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace.
