Onward into August! Sorry kids………..savor these final weeks before school begins. One of our annual summer events here for our high school students is the Steubenville NW conference. Over 1,000 young people met up in Spokane last weekend with 14 from our parish participating. The comments I am hearing are over-the-top positive once again.

Fr. Hans and Dustin were with them along with Susan Finch, our Youth Minister, and assistant Christina Tenorio. We have exciting plans underway for our parish Youth Ministry this fall. Watch our bulletin for information! Here’s a bunch of quotes from our youth who participated in the conference:

And, last weekend, Andy Noethe gave an inspiring introduction to our partnership with L’Arche. Applications are now being reviewed for residents in their new location (our former Ministry House) and for opportunities to be part of this community. Funerals were held last week for Delores Mangold, Danny Allida, and Hermadi Somadi. Services are planned for Jay McIntosh for Thursday, August 8 ^th at 11:00am. May their souls and all the souls of the
faithful departed, rest in peace.
