Catholic Schools’ Week is here! One of our largest ministries of Holy Trinity is our
school. We serve over 300 children Pre-Kindergarten thru 8
th grade and in addition to providing high quality education we permeate everything with faith.
That is the strength and uniqueness of our Catholic schools. Our life-vision as Catholic Christians is that God is not a distant, far-off God, but is here with us in everything — or to use the wording I used in my homily last weekend: our entire lives are “Property of JESUS CHRIST”.
In a Catholic school we can bring that into classwork, community building, prayer, recess, conflict resolution, and accountability. Our faculty inspire me daily with their dedication and their clear sense of being “called” (vocation) to teach and form our young people. Huge thanks to our staff, our students, their parents, and to all of you for your support of this ministry.
Congratulations to Jakeline Lopez and Juan Rodrigúez, who were married here on January 25
th! Blessings to you both, and to all of our married and engaged couples. Blessings also to their son, Juan, who was baptized this weekend.
Funeral services are scheduled for Ray Seabeck on Saturday, February 8
th at 11:00am. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, rest in peace.
