"What Catholicism Teaches and How the World Challenges Us: Non-violence for the Individual and Society"
Presented by Dr. Anne Santiago, Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Portland.
Dr. Santiago will share her insights and experiences working on conflict management in Rwanda, researching conflicts in Africa, and teaching courses with social justice themes at a Catholic institution. She will also consider how the complex problems of our local, national, and global societies challenge our commitment to non-violence at the structural level as we pursue social justice. All are welcome!
