"Receive Communion by making a throne: one hand under the other, ready to receive our great King."
—St. Cyril of Jerusalem
First Communion normally takes place in a student's 2nd grade year, but Holy Trinity has paths for everyone from 2nd grade all the way through high school and even adulthood.
And as always, remember to:
Come to Mass as a family each weekend either online or in-person!
Make time for daily prayer as a family. If that's new to your family, then start simple - a Lord's Prayer first thing in the morning and again at bedtime. Institute the blessing prayer before meals. Or take it up a notch and teach your family the Angelus prayer (the Angelus is a noontime prayer and nicely breaks up the monotony of the day).
