Holidays bring out the best in everyone at Holy Trinity! Along with the families that come through our Food Closet, over the years we have worked with the Portland Veteran's Administration, Union Gospel Mission's LifeChange for Women & Children community, Beaverton Resource Center, Beaverton School District, Oregon Department of Health & Services, Family Justice Center, Sexual Assault Resource Center, and Rose Haven to identify families in need at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We are once again holding a Christmas Toy Drive! Collected items will be divided between the Beaverton School District, the Family Justice Center of Washington County, and the Oregon Department of Human Services. Collection boxes are in the narthex through Sunday, December 15th. There is also a collection box in the Parish Office if you forget to bring in your donation on the weekend. Please follow the guidelines in the graphic below when purchasing toys. Thank you!
Thanks to your incredible generosity, over 320 families in our community have the items necessary for a delicious Thanksgiving meal!
If you are joining us for our 9:00am Thanksgiving Day Mass this Thursday, you'll have an opportunity to take part in our much beloved tradition of bringing food donations up to the altar during the usual offertory collection time. As is our custom, all monetary donations received at that Mass will go to the Food Closet as well.
We will gratefully accept any type of non-perishable items, but the suggestions listed here are critical items that we go through quickly on a regular basis. Please only bring non-perishable items for the Thanksgiving Day Mass food collection. Thank you!
