A couple of months ago I introduced a new ministry called Random Angels. Through this ministry I notify people who have signed up (the Angels) whenever I come across a situation or need that I cannot find a solution for. I never know what or when (the Random part) the need will arise. I just know that a solution exists if we can only connect the right resources. So far there are about forty people signed up for this ministry. Most are from Holy Trinity, but some are from other churches. They all know that when the call goes out that if they can help they should contact me; if they cannot, no action required. You help when you can and however you can. No pressure, no guilt. If you cannot help this time, say a prayer that a solution is found. It’s never too late to join this ministry. Simply send me an email and ask to be added. I would love to have you all part of this ministry.
 
Here is an example of a situation that was recently sent to the Random Angels:
 
Over the last year I have been working with a mom who could use some help. Her husband works in the Portland area, but the pay is not great. They have five kids, with all seven of them living in their car. Every time they get a little saved, something happens. Most recently they had to repair their transmission which took all of their savings. They would love to find a permanent place to live. With that many people they need three bedrooms. They can afford $1,000 per month, but no more than that. If you, or someone you know has a place you would be able to rent to them, please contact me.
 
Please pray that we find some help for this family and for all of those who are living in an insecure housing situation.
