It has begun! (But it’s not too late to join in.) We’re not yet able to gather as a class, so we’re beginning digitally. If you’re ready to explore the Sacrament of Confirmation, join us by visiting
classroom.google.com and entering this “classroom code”:
o4lpiip.
A new lesson will be added to the classroom about every two weeks, with a teaching video, links to online resources, and a challenge to attempt. Anyone in grades 9-12 is welcome to join us!
Adults wanting to be Confirmed should
email Erin for information on those classes.
RELIGIOUS ED. & FIRST COMMUNION UPDATE
My grandma used to say, “God laughs at our plans.” Well, we had some great plans for this year! As early as July 2019, Deacon Brett and I were discussing ways to expand our Sunday morning Religious Ed. program to better accommodate families and the growing number of students that were attending. Now. . . well, we certainly aren’t worried about
too many kids right now!
Our hope and prayer is that the viral spread will shrink to a point that we can safely resume classes. Until then, Ally and I will continue to create weekly reflection videos, based on the Sunday readings, for you to use at home. If you’d like a grade-level workbook to work through with your child, we’re happy to provide it! Just email Ally to request one.
If you’d like your child to receive First Communion this year, please add your name to the list by filling out the simple form on our
First Communion webpage. That will put you on our email list so we can let you know when and how we’re beginning the sacramental process.
As always, send me an email with any questions! (If it’s a hard question, I’ll make Ally answer it.)
