Is Jesus Christ my King? There comes a time when we all will have to answer this question definitively. My guess is that when He asks, He will already know our answer.
Is Jesus Christ my King? What are all the things that I put in His place as Lord and center of my life? Today’s Feast is a reminder that when all is said and done, I will have to answer this simple question. My life and choices will be what
testifies the answer.
Is Jesus Christ my King? A king has authority. Do I allow Jesus to have authority over my life, to rule every part and form who I am?
Is Jesus Christ my King? In today’s Gospel, the rulers and soldiers sneered and jeered and crucified Jesus. It’s like today’s world as well, so quick to deny, rebuke, and eliminate our sweet Savior, and anyone who gives their lives to Him.
Again, I ask, despite the world,
Is Jesus Christ my King? Read Lk 23:35-43 for a portrait of our King, willing to die for us to save us. Two are crucified with Him. Which of the two are me? In what I read, what am I sorry about and grateful for?
I know the question both Jesus and I are asking:
Is Jesus Christ my King?
May today’s feast be a reminder. Praise God this Feast of Christ the King, King of the universe! +
