PEOPLE'S CLIMATE MOVEMENT
On April 29th, we mobilize! OPAL and our partners in the
Oregon Just Transition Alliance are calling on Oregon’s Environmental Justice communities and anyone who stands with people of color and low income people to join the movements for racial, social, and economic justice as pathways to climate action.
All individuals are invited to join to show solidarity. RSVP and share the announcement on Facebook
here
Climate Inaction is Racial and Economic Injustice! People of color face the worst impacts of climate change, in the US and around the world. The solutions to the climate crisis require a transition in every sector: transportation, energy, housing, jobs and more. This march will center the experiences of people of color, low-income people, and others who are on the front lines of climate injustice.
Join us in Portland on April 29th, 12 -5 pm at Dawson Park (N Stanton St & Williams Ave)
