Ally's Two Cents

Hello again, my favorite parish community! After a summer at Notre Dame, I managed to sneak back into the office while Brett’s away on vacation. In case you’re curious, I spent my time on campus learning about the doctrine of the Trinity, studying the theology of the Church (ecclesiology), working through connections between pastoral ministry and theology, and reconnecting with my peers who serve the Church all over the country. I also managed to soak in some beauty in my time away; on my road trip back to Portland, my fiancé and I stopped briefly at the Badlands and Glacier National Park! God never ceases to amaze me with the many breathtaking sights sprinkled throughout creation. Now I’m looking forward to my second year as your pastoral apprentice, and I hope I’ll get to hear about how the summer was for you all as well!
