Catholic Schools’ Week is here! One of our largest ministries of Holy Trinity is our school. We serve over 300 children Pre-Kindergarten thru 8th grade and in addition to providing high quality education we permeate everything with faith.

This week I came across an interesting study by an economist from Dartmouth who found that happiness generally follows a “U” shaped curve over the course of one’s life, with unhappiness peaking around age 47 or so. (Hmmm… right around the time many of us are beginning to pay college tuition bills…)

Last weekend in his homily Brett spoke about the words from Jesus’ baptism: “This is my beloved son; listen to him.” These words are the foundation of our own relationship with God, and in our baptism we are directly invited into the “family” of the divine Trinity.

Staying warm, dry, having clean clothes and something to eat are all basics that not everyone has. Many do because of your support!

Just some guy??? It’s that time of year again. Christmas is no sooner over and we are already to set our sights on Easter.

Hello, everyone. Happy New Year! Last week I came across the following quote from a Carthusian monk named Augustin Guillerand. It captures well some of the struggles in prayer that we all experience.

Winter is here! Many of our retired folks have left for warmer locations: smart people! For the rest of us, it’s time to hunker down and make the best of it.

We never know what God is going to ask us to do or whom he will bring into our lives.

Isn’t there something about new things? In their crisp pristine newness, they are both captivating and appealing.

2020 it is! Welcome into the new decade and new year.
